From the hand-painted plates, to the abudance of soft white towels, El Aguilón provides a very high standard of accommodation. Our experienced staff are courteous and unobtrusive, there when you need them, but always respecting your privacy

Open all year round, each season offers something special. On hot summer days, guests can unwind by the pool or doze quietly in a hammock. During the winter months, the climate is wonderfully mild. Warm sunshine, but not too hot. Perfect for a game of tennis or a ride in the hills!

The walks from El Aguilón are spectacular. The surrounding hills have an abundance of wild flowers, and if you climb up high, you have some breath-taking views of Africa across the Straits to the Rif mountains beyond.

Horses are available with a guide,and in the evenings, you can relax in front of a roaring fire, or enjoy a game of snooker on our full-sized table. For keen golfers, El Aguilón is less than an hour’s drive from some of the finest golf courses in Europe; Valderrama, Sotogrande, Montenmedio etc. Windsurfing, whale-watching, mountain biking and rock-climbing are all available within a few minutes' drive.

For the ultimate body treatment, we can show you a unique spot on a nearby beach where you can have lots of fun covering yourself from head to toe in a natural mud bath. It feels fantastic to use the real thing, and your skin feels a million dollars when you jump into the waves and wash it off!

Tarifa enjoys an almost perfect climate. However, all bedrooms have air-conditioning, and for those cool winter nights, guests enjoy the benefits of underfloor heating. In order to relax and unwind there is no television or telephone in the bedrooms.
