BELINDA AND RODRIGO

Rodrigo is an oceanographer and Belinda does the filming, so when they are not working in El Aguilon, they are usually in the middle of the ocean investigating plastics in the ocean or in the mountains of Baja California in search of ancient cave paintings of marine life.

Both are very hands-on with the running of El Aguilón and enjoy having guests - many of them have become friends, returning year after year.

Toñi is a ray of sunshine, always smiling! She manages the cleaning, housework and cooking. Toñi grew up near El Aguilón in the next valley. She is married to Adolfo and they have two young daughters. She was raised in the country helping her father with his herd of goats, and her mother taught her how to cook classic Andalusian food. As a true countrywoman, she can ride a horse, milk a goat, and prepare fish and game.

THE HORSES

We have three lovely horses at El Aguilon. Turron, an ex polo pony, is Belinda's horse. Charlie Brown is Turron's grandson, and we have recently trained him to pull a horse carriage. Sevillana, the white horse, is now an old lady and enjoys spending her retirement with her friends in the field.
