ABOUT
The rustic charm of this light and spacious cottage has guests returning year after year. The master bedroom is in a tower with views over the hills, and the large twin bedroom opens out onto the garden. It has a private terrace (10 x 4 m) with sofas, a dining table, and lots of plants. The cottage is a treasure trove of interesting artefacts; grass-skirts from Papua New Guinea, antique Moroccan candlesticks, and model aeroplanes from the 1920s. Downstairs there is a large living room / kitchen which opens out onto the shaded terrace. The Stable Cottage is a big hit with children, as they can see the horses through their bedroom window! KITCHEN
The cottage has a well-equipped kitchen including an iconic Smeg fridge, an electric oven, and four gas hobs. We provide coffee, tea, sugar, olive oil, salt, pepper, and a wide range of spices so our guests feel at home. On arrival, you'll find a Welcome Basket with chilled water, wine, bread, butter, eggs and milk.
WINTER
In the winter the Stable Cottage is incredibly cosy; it has a wood-burning stove, so you can spend the evenings enjoying a glass of wine and a good book by the fire. Three big sofas ensure there's space for all the family as well as any guests you'd like to invite for dinner.
